The series PINK is a celebration of
stuff—of color, form, and that crazy wet stuff that flows off
the end of my brush called PAINT. ... the pleasure of splashing color
against color and making crazy shapes, drawing into the surface with
the back end of a brush, taking old dried paint and pasting it on the
surface, letting it crack and then painting right on top of that. ...the
pleasure of doing and making, what an eye can see and a hand can do...
exploring a crazy idea even though it doesn't make any sense, breaking
